The Good Spirit School Division and Christ the Teacher Catholic School Division along with returning and new community partners, re-signed the Community Threat Assessment and Support Protocol on November 24th, 2016 in Yorkton.
This protocol supports collaborative and proactive planning among community partners in assessing and reducing the risk of violence to keep our schools and communities safe. It fosters timely sharing of information and the development of supportive and preventive plans.
CTASP reflects the work of J. Kevin Cameron, Executive Director of the Canadian Centre for Threat Assessment and Trauma Response, the Yukon Threat Assessment Program and, the Alberta Children and Youth Initiative.
The original Community Threat Assessment and Support Protocol was signed in September 2013.
