School Board Elections
Sept. 29 update: Due to unexpected delays that may occur with the processing of Criminal Record Checks and Vulnerable Sector Checks, candidates may file their nomination papers without these documents in order to meet the October 7, 2020 deadline.
In lieu of the Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check, a School Board Trustee Affidavit Respecting Criminal Record Check may be completed. Link HERE for the form.
Candidates must submit a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check to the Returning Officer by October 26, 2020 to allow for public inspection.
Board of Education trustees are elected during civic elections that are held every four years.
The next civic election is scheduled for November 9, 2020.
Nominations will open no later than September 22, 2020 and close October 7, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
