Hub
Community Mobilization in Yorkton, also referred to as the “HUB,” is a multi-agency team focused on crime prevention. HUB integrates the activities of various community agencies, including the RCMP, school divisions, the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health, and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Social Services. These agencies work together to identify at-risk children and youth, share information on the individuals and families involved, and develop integrated, targeted intervention strategies.
Referrals to the HUB are made by jointly to by the school counselor and principal in Christ the Teacher Catholic Schools. At present, one of the school counselors attends HUB meetings twice per week as the representative for the division.
